Nanette Martinez graduated with her Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree at Florida International University (FIU) College of Architecture & The Arts (CARTA) in 2015. While at CARTA, she researched as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) Grant as part of the ECPA/FIU Energy Efficiency Project. Additionally, she traveled to Italy to take courses in Urbanism, Conservation and Architectural History. Nanette has recently taught Design Studio at Florida International University CARTA. She has been invited to a number of design reviews at institutions such as FIU, Miami-Dade College and the University of Miami.

Nanette is currently a Designer and BIM Leader at SB Architects in Coral Gables and an Adjunct Professor at FIU CARTA. She has previously worked at other recognized firms such as Camilo Rosales Architects in Coral Gables and Stantec in Miami. 

Her design work has been published and exhibited locally & internationally in Miami, Coral Gables, and Italy.
